In Korea, female drivers get special parking spots at select places such as Lotte Department Store. They're closer to the entrance, and apparently they're wider than the typical spaces. As one (Korean) woman explained: women can't park as well as men, so they need more room.

jen, that is AWESOME!! i love it and think we should have that in the states as well, afterall, it is the gentlemanly thing to do. we are the shoppers and have all the bags to carry and we are weaker so we should have the closest parking spaces. hope you're feeling better today. love you lots, auntie n. xoxo
