Simplicity
Amazing how often the simplest of things can bring the most pleasure. Like tonight's dinner. I had a batch of cherry tomatoes that were rippening quickly, so I threw some olive oil into a pan, added the toms along with some special seasonings (the Italians reading this can probably guess which ones; see answer below^), and presto! A marvelous sauce, good enough to eat on its own. But since I had a heap of grading to do, I needed extra energy -you know, the kind that only pasta can provide. Mmmmmm. Delish. And the leftovers will undoubtedly be better.
^special seasonings: oregano, dried basil, pepper, and Lawry's
